YOU ARE BEING FOOLED! There is no magic to this fitness game! There are many ways to get what you desire but you gotta stop Bull $**ting yourself! NO EXCUSES! Stop buying into fads and the new fit toy.

The Best way for you to get in shape you will need a few things.
1. A notebook: Here you will right down goals and keep yourself accountable. You can have a blog or an app where you can write down your goals there and friends/fitfam can see and cheer you on! That helps as well.
2. RESEARCH: Nutrition is a key component. Understand your Macros (Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats) and Micro-nutrients. Find some people that loves/ teaches/ are certified about this topic and pick their brains. Find out about water intake and what real food vs processed food. Supplements vs REAL food. There are so many diets/fads out there and NONE are the best. Do what works best for you. The key is STICKING with it! Taylor and adjust along your journey just don't give up. You WILL see results!
3. EXERCISE!!!! Abs were made in the kitchen my ass! I guess whoever wrote that had a gym in their kitchen. Eating is part of the journey to success but you have to work out! Don't make it a chore either. Make it fun. There are many different gyms out there and fitness styles that are thirsty for your money and banking on your impulse to get their gym and have you go for the first month and then wane off into oblivion while they get richer. Find a gym that YOU like and can afford. Better than that you don't need a gym, you can workout at home, basement, backyard, park, anywhere. It all boils down to the last point....
4. DETERMINATION!!! That's it. That's what separates the coach potato from the athlete. Some of us can muster up self motivation, some need a push, some ooze motivation and inspire others, and some drain people of it. You wanna stay away from the latter. Yes, get motivated, get excited! Its not brain science it's that your lazy by choice. Choose to be determined, leave the B.S. toys/gimmicks to the so called fitness guru salesmen and get in the best shape of your life.
P.S. HAVE FUN WITH THE JOURNEY!!!! Don't beat yourself up. Just don't give up.

Muscle Up tips and Exercises

I'll never forget when I first stumbled upon Muscle ups in 2007 while going for a jog in the Marina in San Francisco. Some guy pulling up then dipping from the top of childrens monkey bars. I stopped from curiosity and asked the dude what he was doing and from then on I did research, you tubed and experimented with reckless abandon... haha. I practiced non stop (even injuring myself real bad in the elbow) and tinkered with exercises that would compliment my progress in this cool move. It wasnt long after that I could do them on command but it definitely took a lot of go's! Perseverance friends. Dont Quit. So here goes. 1. Weighted Pull ups and Dips- First off the muscle up IS essentially both or a combo of, so you have to be comfortable in doing the two said exercises already. Weighted pull-ups and dips will strengthen and help you with the explosion (speed + strength) that you need to get over the bar. 2. Reverse Grip curls- I LOVE these and definitely co-sign on how much th...
